Donation & Refund Policy

Effective date: September 16, 2026

Donations and sponsorships help Christ D’Rock Film Institute Worldwide develop filmmakers, produce faith-centred stories, and support screenings, outreach, and community-focused media.

1. Voluntary contributions

Unless clearly identified as payment for a specific product, ticket, or programme, contributions are voluntary and do not purchase ownership, creative control, profit participation, or guaranteed recognition.

2. Designated support

We will make reasonable efforts to apply a contribution to the project or purpose identified on the payment page. If that purpose becomes completed, impracticable, overfunded, delayed, or cancelled, we may contact the contributor or apply the funds to a closely related Institute purpose, subject to applicable law.

3. Payment processing

Online payments may be processed by Stripe or another approved provider. The payment provider may collect billing details and apply its own terms, privacy policy, currency conversion, or processing rules. The Institute does not store complete payment-card details.

4. Refunds

Donations and sponsorship contributions are generally final. We will review a refund request when a payment was duplicated, made in error, unauthorised, or affected by a technical processing problem. Requests should be made within 14 days of the transaction whenever possible. Approval depends on the circumstances, applicable law, whether funds have already been committed, and payment-provider rules.

5. Programme fees and tickets

Training fees, screening fees, event tickets, merchandise, and other purchases are not treated as donations. Their cancellation and refund terms will be stated at registration or purchase. Where no separate terms are stated, contact us promptly and before the programme or event begins.

6. Receipts and tax treatment

We may issue an acknowledgement or payment receipt. Contributors are responsible for obtaining independent advice about tax deductibility. No website statement guarantees that a contribution is tax-deductible in any country.

7. Chargebacks and concerns

Please contact us before initiating a chargeback so we can investigate promptly. This does not limit any rights available through your bank, payment provider, or applicable law.

8. Requesting assistance

Email christdrockfilminstitute@gmail.com with the contributor’s name, payment date, amount, payment reference, and reason for the request. Do not email full card details.

Secure online giving is still being prepared. Use only payment links published on our official website or supplied through a verified Institute contact.
